The City of Biddeford’s Recreation Department is searching for a dedicated and responsible individual to work in our Teen Center. The Teen Center is located at the J R Martin Community Center in Biddeford.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of teens
• Organizing and planning activities
• Working as a team

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with youth and/or teens
• Passion and commitment to working with teens in a recreational setting
• Patient, flexible, and dependable
• Motivated, hardworking, and organized
• Excel at developing and implementing teen programs
• Able to communicate with youth, peers, and parents
• Good communication skills, positive attitude
• Works well independently and with a team
• Able to drive a 15 passenger van (with provided training)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid
• Creativity, ability to motivate youth

Schedule (i.e. timing, days):

• Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30 PM
• Additional hours available during early dismissals and school breaks

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
