Role: Accounting Clerk

Location: 400 Bertha Lamme Drive, Cranberry Township, PA - 16066

Duration: 9 Months W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $24/Hr on W2

NOTE FROM HIRING MANAGER:

• 3-5 years of experience with journal entries and account recs.
• SAP experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to report to Cranberry office 3 days per week (Wed. is only mandatory day, employee may select other 2 as desired). Must be willing to work late during month end close (typically 1st and 2nd workday of each month but may shift due to global holidays).
• No time off will be approved during month end closing.

Job Details:

• Level II: 3-5 years of experience.
• Under direct supervision, performs bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
• Posts journal or voucher entries, reconciles accounts, and checks for accuracy.
• Verifies, sorts, posts, and checks claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers.
• Typically requires a high school education or equivalent.
• Frequently reports to a Accounting Supervisor.
• Performs light clerical duties within an accounting function.
• May type, match payments, check items on purchase orders, prepare bank deposits and perform other routine calculations with specific instructions.
• Have 10-key skills by touch or sight.
• Is familiar with computers (and basic principles of A/P or A/R).
• Performs basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable and receivable and of bank reconciliation functions.
• Answers customer inquiries.
• Researches problems and/or complaints.
• Creates and edits spreadsheets.
• Can perform any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
