VIP Auto Accessories is looking for a Parts Counterperson to help support our team. Experience in an automotive parts department is a must. The primary functions of this position are to provide accurate quotes and efficient ordering of the necessary parts for each of our automotive departments. We are a part of the Lou Fusz Automotive Network and have been in business for over 40 years! The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced workplace.

About Us

We began in 1979 as "vehicle improvement products" under the carport of a 2-bedroom house. Since then we have grown fifty-fold, opened several locations, and expanded our services to include mechanical and body repair, interior restoration, paint protection film (PPF) and graphics, ceramic coating and paint correction, lift and wheels, remote start and window tint, audio systems and much more.

Responsibilities

• Ordering parts and providing price quotes for internal departments
• Communicate with team members on parts status
• Communicate with staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answers phone calls
• Pull and fill orders from stock
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources.

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Most have experience in auto parts department 
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Have strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Driver's license 
• Clean driving record
