Parts & Inventory Specialist

Are you looking to join a fast paced team and make a difference? VIP Distributing Company is the St. Louis area's first responder vehicle upfitter. VIP services Police, Fire and Ambulance districts throughout the state of Missouri. The Parts Administrator will be responsible for daily monitoring, tracking, and maintaining of all inventory, purchase orders, and invoices. The Parts Administrator will provide recommendations to improve and streamline the inventory process to better service customers while staying in compliance with VIP’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Taking incoming calls

• Pulling parts

• Maintain inventory stock and provide administrative support to the business needs

• Ordering and receiving the parts inventory and clarification of discrepancies with vendors

• Technical knowledge about parts purposes, application and parts method of manufacturing

• Instructing vendors about necessary modifications

• Re-organizing parts storage warehouse, making sure parts are all labeled properly

• Following up with vendors and keeping track of parts ordered

• Keep track of parts leaving the warehouse and restocking

• Sending out parts to vendors for repair and tracking progress

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License

• Ability to follow instructions

• Positive attitude

• Motivated

• Basic oral and written communication

• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
