Meet the Family:

This hard-working and fun-loving family of three is looking for an experienced and engaged household manager/nanny to join their family as an “extra adult” and team member! They feel they are generally very flexible people with reasonable expectations, a healthy sense of humor, and a strong appreciation for all of the workers who help them manage their busy lives.

Dad works long hours as a cardiac electrophysiologist; the schedule can be somewhat unpredictable and typically requires paperwork on the weekends as well. Mom is the primary household manager and caregiver for their son, and she also works part-time from home as a consultant. They love to ski, bike, and hike when they have time, and also love spending time with family and friends. Additionally, they enjoy doing more simple things as a family, such as going to the park on the weekends.

Their son attends school 3 blocks from their home, and is getting ready to start Kindergarten in September! He is extremely independent, kinetic and energetic. He loves music and dancing, legos, art, and creating things. He has had part-time childcare since birth, and has been in preschool for 3 years. As an only child, he thrives with a caregiver who is hands-on and will physically play with him and offer a lot of 1:1 time and attention.

The Job Description:

The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing and loving environment for their child while helping the family maintain the smooth functioning of their home.

Job duties will include:

  • Meeting with Mom weekly to plan and divide household/child tasks, as well as any administrative matters
  • Light family meal-prep, packing lunches and snacks. Actual cooking is a huge bonus, but not a requirement
  • Facilitating and engaging in age appropriate developmental, educational activities, and physical play
  • Support with school related activities (too young for homework)

They must be up to date on their Covid vaccination with the most recent booster. Additionally, they must have a valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
