The Preserve Course Head Superintendent is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail, who is motivated by the prospect of showcasing their talents at a premier 54-hole Club and providing the SWCC Membership a truly memorable golf experience. SWCC Director of Agronomy, Eric Ruha, has contributed to multiple course superintendents graduating into their own Clubs over the past ten years. This is an ideal opportunity for a lead assistant to take a step forward in their career into an environment defined by continuous improvement. Success in this role will coincide with being self-motivated and driven to proactively address areas/issues of need.

• The ideal candidate will be a current Assistant Superintendent with corresponding credentials and experience.
• A Turfgrass Degree is required. (a two-year degree from an accredited school will be considered)
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• This position will work closely with the Director of Agronomy daily. 
• Success in this position requires exhibiting leadership skills and maintaining established standards and expectations amongst the team. 
• The position is responsible for training programs, safety programs, and upkeep of assets.
• Possess a Florida Pesticide license. (Plan and communicate all fertilizer and pesticide applications with accurate record keeping)
• Will exhibit professionalism in actions and image.
• Certification in Florida Golf - BMP, or the ability to obtain within 180 days.
