The Indiana Institute for Behavior Analysis is hiring for a Janitor at our Evansville, Indiana location. This position is key to ensure that our employees and clients are working, playing, and learning in a clean and sanitary environment. The compensation will be based on the experience. However, the starting rate is $15 per hour. This role is responsible for the general cleaning of our ABA Therapy Center. The work hours will be 12:00 pm-6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. All candidates for this position must pass a federal and local background check. Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Mopping
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Taking out trash
- Cleaning kitchen areas
- Vacuuming
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, custodial, and/or commercial cleaningÂ
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis and occasionally, unassisted
The person selected for this role will be able to use cleaning equipment, manage time effectively, have great attention to detail, and be able to use cleaning equipment and follow instructions. If this sounds like you, our hiring team would love to talk to you about this opportunity!
