About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, FL. This position is focused on providing front-line telephone support for customers and vendors and processing customer orders. The role involves creating sales orders and coordinating with necessary parties to effectively and efficiently resolve customer issues. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming telephone calls and emails from customers promptly and professionally.
• Create sales orders based on customer purchase orders.
• Assist with setting customer expectations and striving to exceed and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Prioritize work to meet or exceed established performance standards.
• Provide sales order follow-up for customers as necessary.
• Assist peers and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or retail sales experience preferred.
• Experience in the glass industry or a related field appreciated, but not mandatory.
• Comfort interacting with customers via telephone.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of math and geometry.
• Ability to understand and accurately communicate customer needs.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a changing environment; every call can be different and requires a unique and customized response.
• Coachable, learning mentality appreciated.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Collaborative team member with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
