DeNOVO Solutions, LLC has an opening for a DevSecOps Engineer to support an Agile SW Development program. This is a pending program award with the anticipated start date of June 2024. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful development, implementation, and management of the infrastructure and tools required to support our software development and deployment processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, cloud engineers, and system engineers, to manage and optimize the pipeline of SW Development activities. You will support the end-to-end architecture and management of the CI/CD pipeline to enable transparency, automation, and security throughout the development process.

Role Expectations
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure solutions to support software development and deployment processes
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud-based systems and services
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize the build and release processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability
- Develop and maintain configuration management tools and frameworks for consistent and automated software deployments
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and software build processes
- Ensure compliance with security standards throughout the software development lifecycle
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CI/CD pipeline
- Work collaboratively with a software team in an Agile cadence
Position Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or related area and have no demonstrated (0) years of experience in programs or projects of similar scope and complexity. In the absence of a Bachelor's degree, an additional five (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted.
- Experience with software system development or a related field
- Experience working with Linux server operating systems
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and tools
- Experience developing and deploying in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Experience putting together build pipelines (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, TeamCity, etc.)
- Experience with microservice development containers (e.g., Rancher, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Security certification
Preferred Skills
- Industry certifications related to software testing, security, or DevOps
- Agile knowledge and practice (SAFe or Scrum Alliance background with Atlassian product experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
- Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Experience using a configuration management tool (e.g. Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
Security Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Salary Range:
- $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)
Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
