Position: Software Engineer Level 2
Location: Hanover, MD
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
Sign-On Bonus Eligible: Yes
DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing software systems
- Working individually or as part of a team
- Reviewing and testing software components
- Resolving software problem reports
- Utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
Required Skills and Experience:
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Debug existing software and correct defects
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Write or review software and system documentation
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
- Write or review software and system documentation
- Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Desired Skills and Experience:
- JavaScript (React, VUE and Angular)
- Git, SQL, Node js
- Linux (BASH), NiFi, Docker
- Apache Web Server, HTML/CSS
- Development of APIs (restful services)
- Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Required Education and Certification(s):
- Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of experience or 18 years of total experience in leu of degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
