Position: Software Architect/Cloud Engineer III
Location: Aurora, CO
Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly
Sign-On Bonus Eligible: Yes

DeNOVO Solutions, LLC has an opening for a Software Architect/Cloud Engineer III to support an Agile SW Development program. This is a pending program award with the anticipated start date of June 2024. This position includes defining and implementing the software system design and containerization approach for a proof-of-concept SW signal processing platform. This role includes software development on a set of Python/Java applications, integration of COTS products, and developing interfaces with other software systems to automatically ingest and output data. The Software Architect/Cloud Engineer III collaborates with their team to solve complex problems and jointly define the development roadmap to meet customer needs.
Role Expectations

Work collaboratively with a software team in an Agile cadence
Design and develop systems for maintainability and rapid bug resolution
Decompose systems into applications or components including defining data flows, interface requirements, and application service level agreements
Design, develop, and deploy cloud services and environments
Define and implement containerization approach for a distributed software baseline
Documents design and team best practices
Contribute to innovation and technology roadmaps, technical playbooks, and best practices to support company goals and objectives

Position Requirements

Security certification
8 years experience with software development with Java, C , and/or Python (2 years may be substituted by a Masters Degree in adjacent field)
Experience architecting, designing, and deploying for cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, etc.)
Experience with microservice development containers (e.g., Rancher, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and tools
Collaborates regularly with team and stakeholders on designs and implementations

Preferred Skills

Certifications and/or expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Experience with developing automated tests for containerized applications
Experience putting together build pipelines (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, TeamCity, etc.)
Experience architecting, designing, and deploying for on-prem environments
Experience with shell scripting (Bash, CShell, etc.)
Agile knowledge and practice (SAFe or Scrum Alliance background with Atlassian product experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket)

Security Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Salary Range:

$175,000.00 - $200,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)

Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
