The District Sales Manager is the sales leader of the territory. This includes managing and personally coaching the sales team to hit the yearly, quarterly, and monthly goals of the company as well as the management of sales and customers for the division to make sure that projected growth is occurring as well as gaps addressed and rectified. The DSM is ultimately responsible for the service of the accounts in each area by auditing, establishing accountabilities, tracking, coaching, selling, and providing feedback up to and including the hiring and terminating of employees. This position maximizes market opportunities and execution and serves as the sales expert. The DSM is responsible to ensure the Account Sales Managers are not only growing their accounts sales but that they are executing to the company and Red Bull standards in their accounts. The DSM is also responsible for ensuring the Account Sales Managers are growing their sales skills using Red Bull's sales method to a sales call and that they are using it on a consistent basis to drive execution of the initiatives of the company. DSMs are also responsible to ensure the Account Sales Managers in their division understand and are improving the presence, standards and scores in their division.

Responsibilities:
Motivational Coaches
  • Ensures trainees are properly onboarded.
  • Works with employees so that each employee receives a monthly gate-to-gate.
  • Effectively runs team meetings, 1:1 meetings, and pre-plans to manage people.
  • Believes in the power of training to support people and ensures its execution.
Data Analysts
  • Knows the data for the territory and understands what it takes to make necessary changes.
  • Guides account managers with the use of data, audits, and trackers.
  • Makes sales using data analytics.
  • At any time knows the division’s growth goals and actual results to those goals.
Problem Solvers
  • Solution-oriented and works to keep the division moving with the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Able to think quickly and efficiently, asking for support if needed and holding people accountable.
  • Works with the Regional Sales Managers and Key account Managers to maximize opportunities.
  • Works on projects to develop the market including the resetting and maximizing of space.
Logistics and Sales Experts of a Given Territory
  • Ensures all routes are going and covered. Sometimes this means that the DSM is on-truck, running a route.
  • Knowledgeable of all processes and an expert in Power Selling.
  • Prepares for market tours and blitzes.
  • Serves as route relief.
  • Maintains premium image in the market and teaches others to do the same
Insightful Communicators
  • Able to communicate processes clearly for new and existing employees.
  • Gives honest but empathetic feedback to all employees.
  • Sets goals and follows up on their achievement for salespeople, Wingman and self.
  • Meets with RSM and GSM monthly to go over division results as well as next steps and plans.
  • Audits and market tours not only share results but provide next steps.
  • Completes administrative duties, evaluations, interviews and reprimands in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:
  • Sales/Management Experience preferred
  • College degree preferred/ Not Required
  • Beverage and/ or DSD experience preferred
  • Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record
  • Must pass drug test, lift test, physical and background checks
