Territory Manager FOR PORCH ENCLOSURE SYSTEMS - Missouri/Iowa/Nebraska/Kansas preferred based in greater Kansas City, MO

Futureguard Building Products is looking ONLY for long term career minded individuals, not just the next stop on your resume. This position is responsible for servicing our existing customer base along with a strong emphasis on growing sales through new dealer development. This is a Business to Business only position, we manufacture and wholesale we do not sell direct to any consumers, contractors or online. Futureguard markets Porch Enclosure Systems through lumberyards and siding distributors. We market our products under the SummerSpaceā€¯ brand. Learn more about us at www.SummerSpace.com.

Success in this position requires maturity, reliability, integrity, strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. This position requires daily travel within the territory with the expectation of being home most nights with 3-4 overnights per month possible. This position requires very high energy, multitasking, and the love of selling and building long term relationships. We build our relationships face-to-face, not text and email. Consistent visits with buyers, counter personnel, contractor sales and meeting with building contractors onsite for presentations or first installation assistance if requested by our customer are standard practices for our company. Product knowledge training, contractor breakfasts, lunch and learns, and tradeshows are part of our everyday lives.

To be successful, in person communication is key, as well as a mechanical aptitude as it relates to window and door products. You must be a self-starter, team player, have the ability to work independently, and be comfortable making new account- calls. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management. We produce mid-high-end products and have a solid reputation for stability in customer relationships, high quality products and on-time no excuse deliveries. We believe it is a privilege to have a customer we expect to treat them as such every moment of every day.

The company provides a Ford F-150 quad cab pick-up truck with company graphics for business use only, feeling comfortable driving this type of vehicle is a must. We are all about professional from appearance to performance. Futureguard is a family owned and operated company for over 40 years, we pride ourselves with being a family first run company. This position is demanding, and not a starter position. Compensation is commensurate with experience with performance increases. Along with having a clean driving record, a background check will be done.
