Kenny Electric Services is Hiring a Field Manager Near Denver, CO

Position Title: Field Manager

FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Operations

Reports to: Operations Manager

Purpose: Primary duties include management of small projects, and occasional estimating as needed. Field Manager also has responsibility to provide day to day leadership and guidance to field employees, assisting them in planning, implementing and coordinating project work.

Essential Duties include the following:

  • Must comply with all company safety policies at all times
  • Assist field personnel as required on projects, which may include journeyman duties
  • Account management
  • Develops and authors MOP’s
  • Assist estimators and project manager’s as needed
  • Facilitate and attend in-house training
  • Completes required subordinate evaluations and provides timely and appropriate feedback
  • Ensures that field personnel have the information, equipment, materials and manpower necessary to complete job requirements
  • Assigns personnel to field projects
  • Coordinates projects and the flow of information between the field and office personnel
  • Monitors status of projects to ensure that all goals relative to schedule, quality, profitability and client satisfactions are attained
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of prior experience in the construction industry
  • Possess Journeyman Electrician license
  • Maintain knowledge of current NEC and industry related practices
  • Extensive experience with wiring systems and all phases of project installation; electrical control work and troubleshooting and purchasing of electrical material and parts
  • Ability to properly identify area classifications
  • Experience in commercial and industrial environments
  • Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written
  • Able to assertively address problems with appropriate parties as they arise in a professional manner
  • OSHA 30
  • Current First aid/CPR


Physical Requirements:

Able to carry up to 50 pounds from the ground to overhead and overhead to ground; able to constantly move on feet, climbing ladders and working overhead; possess good vision (normal or corrected); Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead; Able to withstand repetitive use of arms, fingers and hands; Able to work in restricted areas, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, attics; Able to work at various heights up to 50 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks or other safe work areas;

Must be able to get to various customer sites as required.

Well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned modern office setting with adequate ventilation.
