Housekeeping Specialist Role Overview:

As a Housekeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for upholding our high standards of cleanliness and propriety, directly contributing to guest satisfaction and the overall success of our establishment. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help create memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring their stay is nothing short of perfect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and preparation of guest rooms and public areas, adhering to established cleanliness standards.
• Organize and stock your cleaning cart with necessary supplies, maintaining orderliness to enhance productivity.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, closets, fixtures, bathrooms, and hallways to maintain a pristine environment.
• Ensure guest and public restrooms are sanitized and well-stocked with towels, soaps, and amenities.
• Carefully replace all room amenities and literature to prepare for new arrivals.
• Hand-wash all hard floor areas to remove dirt and stains, ensuring spotless surfaces.
• Dust, polish furniture and fixtures, and ensure all room décor is perfectly arranged.
• Change linens, make beds, and manage guest room supplies, including closet organization.
• Use vacuum cleaners to clean rooms, public areas, and hallways, maintaining a dust-free environment.
• Inspect door and window locks for security; report any issues immediately to ensure guest safety.
• Check lighting and remote controls to ensure functionality.
• Exhibit a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.

Candidate Profile:

• Familiarity with cleaning principles, products, and standard equipment.
• Capable of physically demanding tasks, including reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in pushing/pulling equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Effective communication skills, able to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
