Kpler is the leading provider of data intelligence for the commodity markets. Our software aggregates data from hundreds of sources including radar and satellite imagery as well as logistics, governmental and shipping databases. By connecting the dots across fragmented information landscapes, we bring our clients - mostly commodities producers, oil and gas companies, trading houses, public utilities and shipping companies, financial institutions and hedge funds - unique, real-time understanding of supply and demand in the commodity markets.

We are looking for a Deal Desk Advisorto join our Revenue Operations team in their mission to streamline our sales processes from the top of the lead funnel all the way to Customer Success and make the Sales and CS teams more efficient.

You will be instrumental in supporting our rapidly growing revenue organisation and consistently ensuring operational excellence and efficiency. You will start focusing on the last stages of the sales funnel from quote generation until invoicing. The work you do will impact the way, quality and speed at which deals are being closed and will contribute to the overall success of the business. Later, there is potential to expand and contribute to more projects related to internal sales processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and approve sales contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with legal and finance teams to manage contract redlines and approvals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Sales team to structure complex deals and the deal booking on CRM (Salesforce). Ensure deals are aligned with company policies and business objectives.
  • Ensuring correct deal booking on CRM (Salesforce) through various reports. Identify potential issues, coordinate with relevant teams to fix it, or to provide observations and feedback on sales enablement. 
  • Facilitate in streamlining and automating the process for non-standard deal policies and approval workflow. 
  • Provide general assistance on common CRM(Salesforce) questions and basic troubleshooting. 
Requirements
  • 2 year’s experience working in deal desk / contract administration / sales / operations-oriented or analytics roles. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field 
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, contract management. 
  • Quick learner, analytical thinker and problem-solver
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in a CRM system (i.e. Salesforce) is a must
  • Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets advanced formulas (e.g. Lookup) is a plus
