Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist ensures that all payables are reviewed for authenticity and accuracy and are processed for payment according to standardized procedures.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Reviews, receives and enters all invoices into ERP system database
• Prepares weekly disbursement file and accounts payable aging report.
• Clears ACH payments and wires.
• Processes checks.
• Maintains vendor records.
• Scans and files Accounts Payable invoices for archiving.
• Runs month-end reports and ties out Accounts Payable to the reports.
• Account analysis, including but not limited to all freight accounts.

Qualifications

Skills, knowledge, and abilities:

• 3 years’ experience in AP in a manufacturing or maker environment including a distribution center.
• Numbers and detail oriented with proven problem-solving skills.
• Articulate and able to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to learn new systems and technology as business changes.
• Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent training and experience.
• Prior experience with SAP preferred.

Full-time on-site position located at our company’s headquarter offices in Boca Raton, Florida.

For this reason, we work in the office Monday through Thursday. We have chosen Friday as our weekly remote workday as we believe it to be the day that is most beneficial and effective for Basic Fun! and our employees.
