Overview

Panagora is seeking a Chief of Party for an upcoming USAID Local, Faith, and Transformative Partnerships (LFT) Hub Support Activity by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

This is anticipated as a long-term position based in Washington DC, expected to start in late-2024.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief of Party to lead the USAID LFT Hub Support Activity. This critical role encompasses managing the project’s goals which include:

· Engaging and Strengthening Partnerships: Identify, support, and bring together local and regional organizations and individual actors within local systems.

· Advisory and Implementation Support: Provide guidance to USAID Missions and Operating Units (OUs) on implementing awards with new, nontraditional, and local partners.

· Enhancing Monitoring and Evaluation: Lead efforts to advance monitoring, evaluation, and learning practices to foster equitable partnerships across USAID Missions and OUs.

Responsibilities include :

· Provide overall leadership, management and technical direction of the activity.

· Serve as the primary liaison with USAID, local government entities, project partners, and other stakeholders.

· Effectively manage all long- and short-term staff in providing timely, relevant, high-quality services.

· Ensure quality control and responsiveness of technical assistance provided under the contract, including necessary adjustments to operations to fit the requirements of USAID.

· Ensure all USAID contractual requirements are met.

· Identify, support, and convene local and regional organizations, as well as individual actors within local systems.

· Advise and support USAID Missions and OUs on award implementation, particularly focusing on collaboration with new, nontraditional, and local partners.

· Ensure the integration of equitable practices in partnership and capacity development efforts.

· Advance the practice of MEL across USAID Missions and OUs, promoting transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

· Master’s Degree in international development or a related field preferred.

· At least ten years of experience working in leadership positions on USAID-funded projects

· Direct experience with monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) and collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA), and/or organizational capacity strengthening (OCS) under USAID-funded activities

· A proven record of excellent management, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

· A demonstrated ability to manage highly skilled, interdisciplinary teams

· Demonstrated ability to convene, manage, and strengthen partnerships with multiple stakeholders, including local and nontraditional partners.

· Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
