Sewer Equipment is Hiring a Service Technician Hydraulic Near Rockaway, NJ
Description:At Jet Vac Equipment, we owe our success to the efficiency and reputation of provide stellar customer support. To help maintain this standard, we are seeking an experienced service technician to help continue growth of our organization. As an ideal candidate, we require an individual who is considered a “self-starter”, motivated to be successful and brings a team-first mentality. Additionally, you will need to display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. Your ultimate responsibility is to provide exceptional mechanical support with the goal of helping to increase our overall growth within both the service and rental departments.
Requirements:Repairing and testing equipment
LocationRockaway, NJ
40 hour work week
OT available as needed
Salary Range$25-$35 per hour based on experience (Welding experience and certificates, valid CDL, experience with fluid power, fabrication experience, etc.)

Requirements:Repairing and testing equipment
- Report recurring issues and attention to detail to improve equipment and the rental experience.
- Assist with training customers on equipment repair, operation, and maintenance.
- Mounting equipment to a chassis.
- Testing electrical systems.
- Tying electrical from our equipment into chassis electrical system.
- Reading and operating a DVOM
- Installing and understanding of hydraulic testing equipment
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to read schematics
- Welding and Fabrication Experience
- Background in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Experience with KW, Western Star and Freightliner chassis is a plus
