Sr. Perfumery Lab Tech

Job Title: Senior Perfumery Lab Technician
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $32–$35/hour

We are seeking an experienced Senior Perfumery Lab Technician to support a creative fine fragrance lab. This role is hands-on and requires independently compounding complex fragrance oils while partnering closely with perfumers and internal teams.

• Compound fragrance formulas accurately based on perfumer instructions
• Weigh, mix, and calculate raw materials for complex blends
• Prepare samples for evaluation, clients, and internal testing
• Support quality control and ensure fragrance consistency
• Maintain perfumer logbooks, formulas, and lab records
• Manage lab inventory, order raw materials, and keep workspace organized
• Assist with data entry and tracking systems (e.g., Samtrack)
• Serve as backup to the Lab Manager and support special projects
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards

• 5 years of experience in a fragrance or related lab environment
• Strong knowledge of fragrance raw materials (odor and physical properties)
• Ability to work independently and with high attention to detail
• Comfortable working with data systems and maintaining accurate records
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
