Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire

Columbia City, IN | 2nd shift 5pm-3:30am Mon-Thurs or Weekends 6am-6pm Fri-Sun | Great company benefits & perks

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and facility operations in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role focuses on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and support production.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility systems
• Diagnose root causes and implement long-term fixes
• Read schematics and technical documentation
• Maintain spare parts inventory and document maintenance activities
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain organized work areas
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, Technical Certification or Military maintenance experience with 4 years of hands-on maintenance experience (or 7 years equivalent)
• Equipment troubleshooting and repair experience
• Electrical knowledge (120V–480V); PLC/automation experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to climb, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks
