Compensation: $31-$33 per hours
Location: Wharton, NJ
Key Responsibilities
- Perform production line changeovers and assist in line setups to ensure seamless operations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and lubrication of machinery based on a scheduled maintenance plan.
- Maintain a safe work environment by inspecting production lines and reporting hazards.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for efficient tracking.
- Mentor and train mechanic trainees on troubleshooting and repairs, sharing your expertise with the team.
- Engage in welding, machine shop work, and part fabrication.
- Organize and clean storage spaces, ensuring an orderly work environment.
- Assist in new project work and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
- Proven mechanical ability demonstrated through observation and testing.
- Comfortable using hand tools and trade-specific tools (both Metric and Standard).
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical control schematics.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to their training.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (reading and speaking).
