Forklift Driver - Packer

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking to hire a Packer for our manufacturing facility in Wayne, NJ. The role involves packaging finished and semi-finished goods, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and manufacturing standards, and moving products to shipping areas.

Shift: 2nd shift
Compensation: $22/hr $2 shift differential 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pack finished goods using equipment like high-pressure pumps and filters.
• Label containers accurately and ensure drums are securely closed.
• Validate packaging using computers and scanners; report discrepancies.
• Pack excess products for return to stock and record packed containers.
• Assist in loading tanker trucks and replenish packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean workstation and report any damaged tools or equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with GMP and SOPs.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 years in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read/write in English and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with basic computer skills.
