3rd Shift Machinist (Zing)
Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent job shop manufacturing client in the area, is seeking 3rd Shift Machinists to join their team! This is a hands-on manufacturing environment focused on custom, short-run parts production with opportunities for growth into CNC setup and machining.
3rd Shift Machinist Job Summary
Pay: $28 per hour
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM (overtime as needed)
Operate manual lathes and milling machines in a job shop environment
Read and interpret blueprints to machine parts to precise specifications
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Perform independent work during overnight shift with minimal supervision
Maintain quality and safety standards throughout production process
3rd Shift Machinist Qualifications
1–2 years machining or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with manual machining equipment strongly preferred; CNC experience is a plus
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications
Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards
Mechanical aptitude required
