What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Counselor-RC Durr YMCA position at YMCA of Greater Cincinnati?
Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into the excitement and supervise our amazing campers.
- Plan and lead activities that are cooler than a polar bear in sunglasses.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings—because knowledge is power!
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
- Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
- Maintain positive relationships with parents and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age, with high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must meet all licensing requirements as determined by state & local governments.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- CPR & First Aid certifications must be obtained/maintained throughout employment.
