  • Prepare, submit, distribute, and track product submittals
  • Draft, submit, and track Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Identify possible schedule or cost impacts and communicate them to the Project Manager
  • Request vendor quotations, prepare purchase orders, and track material deliveries and lead times
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure materials arrive when needed
  • Maintain change order logs and supporting documentation
  • Assist with change order pricing, labor reports, material costs, and subcontractor invoices
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, labor productivity, and committed expenses

  • Track punch-list completion and assemble project closeout packages
  • Assist with as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, inspection approvals, lien waivers, and retainage documentation
  • Support estimating and bidding activities, including takeoffs, quote solicitation, and bid-package preparation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Business Management, or a related field preferred
  • One to three years of construction, electrical construction, internship, or project-coordination experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and take increasing ownership of project responsibilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with office and field personnel

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

The successful Project Engineer will:

  • Keep RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project logs current and accurate
  • Communicate project information to field personnel promptly
  • Identify procurement, cost, and scheduling risks before they affect the project
  • Maintain accurate job-cost, budget, and change-order information
  • Provide reliable and responsive support to Project Managers and field leadership
