As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects — always safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
- Install conduit, wire, lighting, panels, switchgear, and other electrical equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with the NEC and local electrical codes.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, customers, and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
- Mentor apprentices and help develop less experienced electricians.
- Accurately document completed work and material usage.
Qualifications Required
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
- Experience installing and repairing electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with commercial and industrial electrical construction.
- Experience operating lifts and other construction equipment.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely perform the physical demands of electrical construction.
