Position Overview
This role will support the accounting team in managing financial reporting and operations across multiple real estate entities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations and monthly journal entries
- Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
- Assist with financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
- Support real estate tax processing and related reconciliations
- Track capital expenditures and assist with budget monitoring
- Prepare tenant reconciliations (CAM, tax, insurance true-ups)
- Assist with audits and tax preparation processes
- Handle ad hoc projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (minimum 3.0 GPA required)
- 2 years of accounting experience (real estate or public accounting preferred)
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- CPA or CPA-track is a plus
- Experience with property accounting software (e.g., Yardi) is a plus
