We are seeking an experienced SEO / Generative Engine Optimization Specialist to support growth across digital services and online platforms. This role focuses on driving organic search visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI generative engines. The ideal candidate is analytical, technically skilled, and comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, product, and strategy teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) strategies
- Define technical SEO requirements and create actionable engineering tickets
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and project management teams to ensure successful implementation of SEO initiatives
- Build monthly and quarterly SEO performance reports using data-driven insights and trend analysis
- Conduct technical SEO audits to identify optimization opportunities
- Communicate SEO findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
- Monitor and improve technical SEO performance including crawlability, site structure, metadata, and page speed
- Support visibility strategies across both traditional search and AI-driven discovery platforms
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of SEO experience supporting enterprise-level brands or large-scale websites
- Experience improving page load performance, crawl budget optimization, schema markup, and structured metadata implementation
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience working in Excel, Numbers, and data modeling environments
- Functional understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, sitemaps, and structured data
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies and AI-driven search experiences
- Experience with GEO tools such as Profound
- Coding experience using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments
