Woodlawn is seeking an Occupational Therapist that wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients across the continuum of care. In this role, you’ll help individuals regain independence, improve daily functioning, and enhance their quality of life through personalized, compassionate therapy services in outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed settings.

- Valid Indiana state license- Occupational Therapy
- CPR certification
- Current driver’s license
- Pediatric experience is preferred.
- Evaluation of patients in outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed settings.
- Maintain required paperwork for each patient.
- Communicate with physicians regarding patients’ goals, treatment, and progress.
- Developing and updating a plan of care.
- Treatment of patients.
- Must be consistent with the Occupational Therapy code of standards and code of ethics.
- Review and update Plan of Care.
- Maintain proper documentation on each patient.
- Communicate with physician, family, and caregivers regarding patients’ treatment and progress.
- Education patient and caregivers regarding condition and self-treatment.
- Finalize discharge paperwork.
- Supervision of Support Staff.
- Utilize and instruct support staff for patient care and clerical duties.
- Supervision of Students.
- Utilize and instruct physical therapy students during their clinical rotations.
- Communication with COTAs.
