Role Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Bend, IN. This is a full-time, on-site position. The role involves assessing and creating customized therapy plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or other orthopaedic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, implementing therapeutic interventions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patients achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
Qualifications
Experience in outpatient hand therapy, CHT preferred but open to new grads with a passion in hand therapy
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with knowledge of orthopaedic and rehabilitation therapy techniques
- Strong ability to assess patient needs and develop personalized therapy plans
- Proficiency in documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate medical records
- Effective collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse patients and their families
- Experience in sports injury rehabilitation is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
