EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Some knowledge of anatomy/physiology is preferred, but not required.
- Some knowledge of injury/disease process is preferred, but not required.
PRIMARY CLERICAL DUTIES:
- Answering phones & greeting patients upon arrival.
- Perform Insurance verification processes as dictated by insurance programs/standards.
- Maintain Insurance documentation regarding prior-authorizations, authorizations, and re-authorizations as required.
- Collect payments.
- Schedule initial evaluations and appointments for all disciplines.
- Communication with physician offices.
- Fax/mail plan of care paperwork, as well as continuance of care paperwork.
- Maintain and order supplies as necessary.
- Oversee flow of documents from opening to electronic storage.
- Assist therapists as requested, with patient care that does not require direct physical contact with patients, excepting patient transfers.
SHIFT: Days; Full-time; Monday-Friday; 7:30am-4:00pm
