Position Summary

Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $68,000–$73,000 annually
- Schedule: Flexible availability required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pastry Leadership & Execution
- Support the Executive Pastry Chef in leading, training, and developing the pastry team
- Execute and oversee all pastry production with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Ensure all desserts meet the elevated standards of CUT by Wolfgang Puck
- Oversee daily pastry operations across restaurant service, in-room dining, banquets, private events, and amenities
- Inspect all pastry items to ensure quality, consistency, and luxury-level presentation
- Manage production schedules, inventory, and ordering while maintaining cost controls and minimizing waste
- Partner with culinary leadership on menu development, seasonal updates, and creative direction
- Contribute to evolving a pastry program that reflects the innovation and refinement of the Wolfgang Puck brand
- Lead daily shift communication and foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and excellence
- Support scheduling, training, performance management, and team development initiatives
- Maintain clear communication across culinary and front-of-house teams
- Ensure adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of all pastry areas and equipment
Experience & Education
- Minimum 5 years of professional pastry experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel
- Formal pastry or culinary training preferred
- Strong foundation in pastry techniques including doughs, breads, cakes, mousses, custards, chocolate work, and plated desserts
- Experience with high-volume production and banquet execution
- Proven ability to lead and develop a pastry team
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on guest experience
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
- Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus
