Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with genuine hospitality, ensuring each arrival sets the tone for their dining experience
- Manage the reservation and seating system to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
- Lead and train the host team, ensuring consistency in service and communication
- Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues promptly, and ensure smooth service transitions
- Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to coordinate table turns and guest pacing
- Maintain an organized, polished, and professional presence at the host stand at all times
- 1 year of experience as a hostess/host in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a gracious, professional demeanor
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
- Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
