What You’ll Do
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with professionalism
- Serve as a key communication link between the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Ensure all food is presented properly and delivered to the correct tables
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of service stations throughout service
- Assist servers and management in creating a smooth and elevated dining experience
- Communicate guest requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies with urgency and accuracy
- Support set-up and breakdown of dining and event spaces as needed
- Maintain a strong understanding of menu items, preparation methods, and service standards
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables during service
- Minimum 2 years of food runner or expo experience in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong understanding of restaurant service procedures and dining room operations
- Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor
- Ability to remain composed and organized in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency
- Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
