Housekeeping/Laundry

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services, including washing, drying, and dry cleaning items. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and previous experience in a hotel or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Handle dry cleaning services with care and attention to detail.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Provide exceptional service to guests by responding to requests promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred, particularly in a hotel setting.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and processes, including dry cleaning methods.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
