Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while following safety protocols.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
- Inspect items for damages or stains and report any issues to management.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the laundry process.
Experience
- Previous experience in laundry operations or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment used in laundry services.
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
