Position: Human Resources Recruiter
Job Location: Onsite, Lebanon, TN 37090
Reports To: CFO
POSITION SUMMARY:
Manages all Human Resources Recruiting functions for Wilson County Chevy-Buick-GMC and Hyundai dealerships. Participates and manages full cycle recruiting, including postings, job descriptions, sourcing, and conducting and scheduling interviews.
Realize that during any interaction with customers, the employee should remember the HERO (Helpful, Exceeds expectations, Represents us well, takes Ownership) program. Also, the customer is the highest priority of any employee of Wilson County Motors.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Manage the hiring process for all positions.
- Create and maintain standardized job descriptions and pay plans.
- Document that all processes have been followed to ensure procedural compliance.
- Advertise open positions in appropriate channels.
- Maintain consistency in appearance and workflow in the company’s ATS platform.
- Assist and train managers on the interview process.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews using the manager’s calendar.
- Ensure all required pre-employment testing is acceptable before confirming an offer.
- Maintain records of interviewed candidates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community sources for employees.
- Remain current on HR laws, business trends, and best practices.
- Develop and use employee metrics to assist business development/strategy.
- Coordinate post-offer activities with the HR Coordinator.
- Create and attend job fairs representing Wilson County Motors.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work/education background.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to provide favorable results for a background check, Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) review, and drug test.
One-year minimum experience as a full-cycle recruiter.
In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations regarding employment and recruitment.
Ability to use a computer for work (Computer literate).
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate percentages)
PREFERRED SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Prior experience recruiting for an automotive dealership or repair shop is preferred.
- Experience using Hireology as an ATS is desired.
- Prior experience creating and tracking metrics related to recruiting is desired.
- Experience in a fast-paced hiring environment is preferred.
JOB EXPECTATIONS and REQUIRMENTS:
Arrive at your place of work on time as scheduled.
Hourly employees must clock in and out using the Company’s time recording system.
Perform work safely following company safety guidelines.
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Set and attain time-to-hire goals.
Train hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be sitting for up to 100% of the shift and operating equipment applicable to the job (computer, fax, printer, phone, etc.). It may require lifting, pushing, or pulling weights of more than 15 lbs. Duties will be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
