Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of electrical construction projects, including planning, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
- Manage the financial performance of assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, billing, cash flow management, cost controls, and profitability tracking.
- Provide visible leadership and ongoing support to project teams, field personnel, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Negotiate and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and other contractual agreements.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of complex electrical systems and equipment, including medium-voltage switchgear, substations, large generators, and UPS systems.
- Serve as the primary liaison for owners, general contractors, and key stakeholders during project meetings and critical decision-making discussions.
- Lead and mentor project staff including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all jobsite activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve project execution, operational efficiency, and overall delivery practices.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to long-term client partnerships.
- Lead by example and help foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 10 years of project management experience within electrical construction.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects successfully and profitably.
- Strong knowledge of project financials, forecasting, scheduling, contracts, and risk management.
- Experience with project management software such as Procore, CMiC, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and team development abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Salary : $100,000 - $180,000
