Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates for fire sprinkler system upgrades and modifications for existing customers.
- Develop preliminary design concepts and bid-level pricing for materials, labor, fabrication, and freight.
- Identify and source competitive vendors and subcontractor services to support accurate and competitive pricing.
- Prepare detailed scope letters, proposals, and quotation documents for customers.
- Maintain and update estimating logs, bid tracking, and project pipeline information.
- Participate in turnover meetings and support smooth handoff from estimating to operations.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and field leadership throughout project execution.
- Assist with customer follow-up, clarifications, and ongoing project support as needed.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and account growth.
- Meet regularly with management to review estimating workload, deadlines, and priorities.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in fire protection, fire sprinkler contracting, or related construction industry preferred.
- Background in estimating, design, project management, or field operations strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and construction estimating practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
