Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review production schedules, work orders, and customer requirements to determine product specifications, production volumes, and delivery timelines.
- Plan and coordinate departmental operations to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Evaluate production schedules and forecast labor requirements to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Communicate and enforce company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, productivity, and product quality.
- Recommend adjustments to work methods, staffing, and equipment usage to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze production challenges and partner with employees to develop practical solutions that minimize downtime and maximize output.
- Lead, motivate, and engage employees to achieve departmental objectives and performance expectations.
- Collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams to align production activities across departments.
- Establish production priorities and sequencing to optimize manufacturing flow and on-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain operational schedules to ensure products are manufactured according to quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor production performance and address operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize delays and control costs.
