Private Equity Associate

A boutique private equity firm focused on technology and technology‑enabled services is seeking a Private Equity Associate with 1-3 years of investment banking experience. The Associate will operate in a lean, high‑performance environment and contribute meaningfully across the full deal lifecycle, from investment evaluation to execution and ongoing portfolio initiatives.

Job Function

• Lead analytical workstreams across active deals, including building and enhancing LBO models, three‑statement models, and scenario analyses.
• Support full lifecycle M&A execution, including industry research, financial diligence, customer analyses, and operational workstreams.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and coordinate with third‑party advisors across market studies, legal diligence, and quality of earnings reviews.
• Prepare investment materials and contribute to the development of data‑driven investment theses.
• Work closely with senior investment professionals on portfolio monitoring, KPI analysis, market mapping, and potential add‑on evaluation.
• Participate in proactive sourcing efforts by researching subsectors, identifying opportunities, and forming an informed point of view on businesses.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Advanced Excel (LBO modeling, three-statement builds, scenario analyses).
• Proficient with transaction-level datasets and customer cubes.
• Demonstrated ability to think independently and pressure-test assumptions.
