We are partnering with a well-regarded community hospital in Brooklyn that is seeking a Director of Infection Control to lead and strengthen its infection prevention program. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced infection control professional to drive regulatory compliance, patient safety initiatives, and best-in-class infection prevention practices across the organization.

Job Function

• Oversees outbreak prevention and investigation, staff education, regulatory reporting, and policy development.
• Ensures compliance with CDC, Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and state regulations.
• Reports directly to the COO and works alongside the VP of Nursing. Has one direct report - a Coordinator.
• Runs the quality meeting on a quarterly basis. Will be a big part of an annual Employee Health Services project.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 5 years of Infection Control experience.
• BSN required.
• Active NY RN license required.
• CIC certification required.
• Must have hospital setting experience.
