Job Function
- Schedule: 9:00AM-5:00PM | 5 days on-site.
- Process and manage mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, including dividends, mergers, stock splits, tender offers, rights issues, and bankruptcies, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Create, validate, and announce all mandatory and voluntary reorganization events to Custody and Inventory accounts.
- Calculate, record, and distribute dividend, coupon, and interest payments accurately and within established deadlines.
- Reconcile cash and stock positions related to corporate action events, investigate discrepancies, and resolve exceptions promptly.
- Verify corporate action, dividend, and entitlement data received from market sources, custodians, and system vendors to ensure accuracy.
- Provide support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders regarding corporate action events, elections, entitlements, and payment inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of corporate action transactions, shareholder information, payments, and supporting documentation in accordance with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Monitor operational risks, perform control reviews, and support the implementation of risk mitigation and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop, update, and document operational procedures while supporting administrative tasks, reporting, data entry, and project-related activities.
- Collaborate effectively with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance, IT, Audit, and external vendors to ensure efficient processing and resolution of corporate action events.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 3 years of experience in Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, Custody Services or Investment Banking Operations.
- MS Office Suite experience required (specifically MS Excel.)
- Experience with financial systems, custody platforms and market data applications required.
- Working knowledge of corporate action event processing, dividend distributions and securities operations.
