- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and financial reporting across multiple sites
- Prepare and review consolidated GAAP financial statements and ensure timely month-end and year-end close.
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; manage annual audits and external advisors.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in partnership with leadership.
- Manage and develop accounting staff and partner with operations to support business objectives.
- Lead finance systems strategy, including ERP, AP, payroll, and reporting tools.
- Manage data integrity, system implementations, and migrations, ensuring accuracy, controls, and scalability.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and standardized reporting across communities.
- Track capital expenditures and support liquidity planning and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management or controller role.
- Experience in property level accounting
- Prior experience in multi-site operations strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Netsuite Oracle, AVID, Ramp, Sage Intacct, Aline (or comparable senior living software) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
