This is a key hire for an organization actively investing in leadership, operations, and workforce excellence to better compete with regional hospital systems for top talent.
Job Function
- Schedule/Location: Mon-Fri - fully onsite
- Partner with HR leadership and executive team to refresh and modernize HR processes, policies, and systems
- Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture
- Practice plans to hire an industrial psychologist that this person would collaborate closely with to operationalize workforce development and mindset initiatives
- Lead improvements in performance management, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Introduce best practices around talent management, succession planning, and leadership development
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to inform data-driven decision-making
- Support recruitment strategy for clinical and non-clinical staff, helping position them as an employer of choice
- Enhance internal communication and manager capability across the organization
- Identify gaps in current HR infrastructure and implement scalable solutions for growth
- Serve as a change agent to help evolve the organization while respecting existing culture and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in HR, Organizational Development, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within healthcare or multi-site organizations
- Experience upgrading or transforming HR functions in a growing or evolving organization
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employee engagement, and performance management frameworks
- Ability to partner effectively with tenured HR leadership and cross-functional executives
- High emotional intelligence with strong change management and influencing skills
- Experience collaborating with or alongside organizational psychologists or OD professionals is a plus
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with ability to execute as well as strategize
- Must be comfortable working onsite full-time
