Our client is a top plaintiffs' firm in Philadelphia. They are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join their team.
The qualified applicant will assist in the management and work-up of numerous personal injury and wrongful death cases and support two or more case-managing attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Work on litigation cases, ensuring timely and effective progression
Develop and implement strategic legal approaches tailored to each case
Conduct detailed legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations
Maintain open and empathetic communication with clients
Collaborate with internal teams, including other firm associates and paralegals, to optimize case outcomes
Qualifications:
1 years of plaintiffs’ litigation experience at a medium to large size firm
Strong Organization, oral and written communication, and analytical skills; Detail oriented, adherence to deadlines, ability to multi-task;
Ability to learn quickly and function in a fast-paced environment
Draft and send assorted documents to clients, counsel and courts as needed, such as correspondence, deposition notices, contracts, briefs, motions, orders, petitions and discovery
