What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Wegman Partners?
We have partnered with a global law firm in a search for a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their commercial litigation practice group in Miami, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on the defense of complex product liability matters and commercial disputes.
- Represent and defend product manufacturers, suppliers, and insurers in general liability matters.
- Draft pleadings, briefs, and interrogatories.
- Conduct legal research via Westlaw and/or LexisNexis.
- Submit filings to court.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in FL and NY.
- 2 years of law firm experience.
- Commercial litigation experience preferred, but not required.
- Environmental/toxic tort experience preferred, but not required.
