CNC Machinist
We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists who want to be appreciated and valued for their work ethic and skills. We are growing and looking to add to our team.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe and/or machine center-programming a plus
- Create / modify setup fixtures to improve production
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Troubleshoot issues on CNC machines
- Use/operate secondary machines, tools such as sanders, grinders, drill presses / mills, lathes
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances
- Interpret technical drawings (blueprints) to set up machines / parts
- Other tasks as assigned by machine shop foreman
- 1 to 2 years CNC experience
- G-Code and M-Code programming required
- CAD / CAM programming a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Communicates effectively with co-workers
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Possesses strong shop math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, including fractions and decimals
- Knowledge and ability to use standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Works well with others as a team and independently
