Base Salary: Up to $170k (plus performance incentives)
Practice: Workers’ Compensation Defense – Defense of employers, insurance carriers, and self-insured entities in workers’ compensation claims across Florida.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defend employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims from initial investigation through hearings and appeals.
- Handle all aspects of case management, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial.
- Prepare for and participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and administrative hearings.
- Collaborate with clients, claims professionals, and partners on defense strategy and risk management.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):
- JD and active FL bar.
- 2–6 years of workers’ compensation defense experience.
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
